This is an extremely easy recipe, built for times when you need something quick to make to eat. It can also be a good snack as well. Using schmidt 647 bread means only 80 calories from the bread with 4g of it being protein then with the PB2 protein powder being mixed with water it makes it a peanut butter consistency. This packs 70 calories and 8g of that is protein. Total the sandwich is 150 calories and 12g of protein that’s better totals than a lot of the protein bars, protein cookies and premade protein snacks you will find in the store.
16g PB Fit Protein Peanut Butter Powder
2 Slices of Schmidt 647 Bread
Directions for making the Protein Peanut Butter Sandwich Are Simple:
Mix the 16g of protein peanut butter powder by slowly adding water until it reaches the consistency you want for your sandwich, for me it’s usually around 1.5-2 tbsp of water.
Add the protein peanut butter to the bread and then put the two slices together forming your sandwich.
Want to add a little bit of toasty flavor or crunch? Then pop the bread into the toaster before adding your protein peanut butter. If you prefer crunchy peanut butter and want to take this recipe a step further, crush 5g or 10g of roasted unsalted peanuts and add them into the peanut butter after mixing the peanut butter powder and water.
