Honey Glazed Steak Recipe



We have received several requests over the last few weeks to share a steak recipe… So, without further ado, we have created one to share! This recipe has 319 calories per serving (319kcals per serving). This recipe clocks in at 25g of protein per serving which is fantastic for helping people to meet their protein macronutrient intake goals. We often stress the importance of meeting calorie and protein consumption goals to reach the health and fitness goals that you set for yourself because those are generally the more important macronturients. That doesn’t mean that other macronutrients aren’t needed or aren’t important however the calories and protein are typically prioritized as they generally help more in achieving the desired results.


• 200 grams Beef Filet
• Course Sea Salt (to taste)
• Black Pepper (to taste)
• 1/, tsp. Cinnamon
• 2 tsp. Honey (warmed)
• ½ tsp. Olive oil (or use olive oil cooking spray)


  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees C.
  2. Place a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or spray with non-stick spray.
  3. Once heated, add steak to the pan and then brown lightly, flipping over and doing the same to the other side. This process is referred to as sealing the steak.
  4. Once finished, transfer steak to the oven and bake for 10-20 minutes or until you have reached your preferred level of being done (medium to rare is the healthiest option).
  5. As the steak is cooking, mix together the warmed honey with a little cinnamon. Stir until mixed.
  6. Once the steak is finished, remove from the oven and then let it cool down for about 3-5 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Pour the honey mixture over the steak or dip it into the honey mixture as you eat-your choice
