  1. Soak wooden skewers in water to start (skip this step if using metal skewers)
  2. Stab a lemon slice on the skewer
  3. Slide on a piece of chicken, followed by pepper, followed by beef, followed by eggplant, followed by broccoli. Repeat until the skewer is full.
  4. Continue on for all the skewers.
  5. Gently salt and pepper the skewers
  6. Place on a heated barbecue/grill for about 3-4 minutes per side or until meat is cooked through.
  7. Prior to serving, squeeze the lime at the top so the juice runs over the pieces of food beneath it.
  8. Serve and enjoy. Remember the food and grill are hot so be responsible and practice safety.

As with any recipes we post if you have religious exceptions to food you can make substitutions to the recipes to make it something you can eat . If you have allergies to something avoid that and substitute something you can eat. The recipes we share aren’t strict to where we are telling you to eat this specifically! Rather the recipes we share help to show you that you can have food that taste good and is healthy or mostly healthy for working towards your goals. Occasionally we may decide to share some cheat meals, desserts and such which may not be healthy but you can avoid those if they don’t help you meet your goals. Remember food is fuel for our bodies!
